SureStep™ brands offer point-of-care testing options for
pregnancy, ovulation and drugs of abuse. All the tests
are easy to perform and provide accurate results in a matter
of minutes.
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone that is
released shortly after conception. The SureStep™ and
SureStrip® pregnancy tests aid in the rapid detection of
hCG in urine. Both products exhibit accuracy levels exceeding
99% and have the ability to detect pregnancy as early as the first
day of a missed period.
Prior to ovulation, the female body releases luteinizing hormone
(LH). The SureStep™ ovulation test is designed to detect
elevated levels of LH in urine and assists in predicting the time
of ovulation and peak fertility. The SureStep™ ovulation test
can be performed in only five minutes and provides 99%
accuracy.
The SureStep™ Drugs of Abuse products are simple, one-step tests
for the detection of drugs of abuse in urine. These tests are
available in a variety of product formats, including single drug
strips and devices, multi-drug panels, multi-drug devices, and
integrated cups.
The testing menu for the SureStep™ Drugs of Abuse product
portfolio encompasses 25 separate analytes, including tests for
marijuana, amphetamine, methamphetamines, ecstasy, opiates,
methadone, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, propoxyphene, oxycodone,
phencyclidine and tricyclic antidepressants, with sensitivity
levels tailored to various market requirements.
